Mobile WordPress by WPtouch
When your site is viewed via a mobile device, you’ll see that your content is intact: the text, images, and other rich media. For example, for this site I use a plugin called Syntax Highlighter for WordPress, which converts codes (PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) that I include in my posts into color-coded and ‘code-looking’ text. If you take a look at one of the screenshots below (caption: Plugin-generated code), you’ll see that the formatting renders properly on the mobile edition.
Pagination of posts, threading of comments… and a bit more. And, there’s an active support forum behind this great plugin. For example, there was a hiccup when I added an HTML entity in the WPtouch footer — it caused the plugin to misbehave. The solution was in the forum, and, the moderators were there to point me in the right direction.
Currently, WPtouch works on the following platforms: iPhone / iPod touch, Blackberry, Android. iPad, you say? Whatever for??
Here are some screenshots of this site and my food blog as seen on the iPhone / iPod touch:

Do you know of a good Ipad, Ipod Touch, Iphone simulator to view it on hehe … So i can test it. Nice article.
Thanks, Tops!
Sorry, I don't know where to get emulators for the iPod eh…
Hi guys,
Thanks for the review of WPtouch Pro! We have lots of great plans for it, so we're glad you're on board for the ride.
There are a few ways you can test a site. If you have Safari, you can enable the development menu in the Preferences and then choose the iPhone user agent from the Develop menu that shows up. If you resize the window to be iPhone-like, it's not a bad experience.
A better way is to actually use Apple's iPhone Simulator, but you have to be an Apple Developer to get that.
Hi Duane! You guys have a very admirable plugin, and it was my pleasure blogging about it. Can't wait to see what else you have planned for WPtouch.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll let my friend know about how to test using Safari.
Thanks for sharing the tip about Safari. I tried a couple other test sites but they didn't trigger the WPtouch themes so I just get the regular site.
